Could it be?

14 days later and I think the bleeding has finally stopped. It was the last thing really that needed to end so that I could stop being reminded of what happened. Now it's a wait game to see how long my body takes to get back on track. My period came rather quickly after Tash was born, in a big part I think to not BF'n so we'll see how it goes this time.

  1. Yay! It's nice to get some closure.

Also, regarding your last entry and doctors. I think that there are different calibers of doctors, and the ones that are for "high-risk" are top notch.

Here in Silicon Valley, almost everybody around me got pregnant via IVF and is over 38 years old - so it's a given that they will get a perinatal superstar. One of upsides is that they get to have weekly (yes I said WEEKLY) ultrsound appt's. While the rest of us common folk have to go more than 6 weeks between each peek. Maybe you'll get the same benefit :)

I never got a regular period after my miscarriage (because I managed to magically get pregnant before it came). I was freaked out that I was going to lose this one too, since I didn't wait the proper cycle or two before ttc. But my new doctor told me that it's just a precaution but not a requirement. She said if my body was ready - then it was ready.

So see? When it's right, it'll be right.
