Bunny Chronicles - Month Eight

It's been a month full of milestones for Miss Kate.

Early in the month she started to roll front to back and back to front with a lot of regularity. To a point now that no matter if you put her on her tummy or her back she will roll over to the other side. lol Silly girl. With the new found fun of rolling over, she's also started to sleep on her belly with her bum in the air. This is totally bizarre to me because Tasha was never a belly sleeper. She *hated* being on her belly and never really did roll over.

Her other big milestone was trying to crawl. She's half accomplished it, if you put her on the floor she will push herself backward. Also if she's sitting she scoots her bum around to do full circles. She's even scooted on her bum a few feet. Since the start of the month she's went from laying flat on her tummy and pushing backward to just in the last week actually getting up on her knees, so I suspect crawling forward is not far behind. I told Owen that I expected it to happen by the end of the month.

She still has no teeth, but she's taken on solids with a vengeance. She loves mixed veggies, pasta, toast, rice and chicken. Oh and sausage and eggs. :0)

Today I turned around for a minute and when I looked back at her she had pulled herself up on her knees using a storage bin of clothes. She gave me a look like "How the heck did I do this and how do I get back down." LOL

Oh, and she is now saying "Mama" on repeat x10. I'm not quite sure if it's babble or she really knows what she's saying, but I love it when She's with Owen and then suddenly starts going "mama mama mama"!

She's still toothless and she's still about 2lbs and 2" shorter than N was at this age, but nothing I'm concerned about. She's her own little person, which means she will be different in many things than N.
