Five Months Old

It's been a quiet month for Miss Kate. No really major milestones or exciting happenings. She has rolled over from Tummy to Back a few times, but I'm still doubting that she really realizes what she's doing. I think when she does do it, it mostly has to do with how I put her down, if her arms/hands happen to be in 'just the right' position, then she manages to roll over, but if I set her down and her arms/hands are not, she does not roll over at all.

She did graduate to her jumperoo this past week though. I think at five months on her back and belly was getting boring for her, so this is a nice change, being upright and being able to spin.

Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'

Miss Kate rolled tummy to back today! The first time she was on the bed and I figured it was just 'fluke' and was due in part to the bunched up duvet. Later on in the day I put her on her tummy on the basement floor and with in a few seconds she rolled tummy to back. I put her on her tummy again and a few minutes after, she rolled again!

Totally shocked that she is rolling! Miss Tasha did not roll until she was around 8 months old. I'm still thinking she is not 'aware' of what she's doing, but I guess if she keeps doing it, she obviously knows what she's doing eh? I just can't believe she's doing it so soon!
